The detail on Roger's sculpture is finely crafted.

The Sculptures have developed over the last few years into an exciting venture for me. They are an evolving journey & I have lots of ideas for future sculptures. I am now using various bases for my sculptures including rocks covered in ‘Maerl’ (calcified seaweed) collected from the rugged & wind swept beaches of Orkney & wooden plinths covered with a sea bed landscape. I have just started using driftwood for wall sculptures. These are particularly collectable due to the fact that driftwood can be quite rare in Orkney!

Each sculpture is different in texture & colour, this alone makes each sculpture I create different from any that went before. The copper seaweed is patinised giving a colour that sets off the handmade & hallmarked silver fish. I believe they create movement & form that would look stunning in office, study, front room or hallway. Due to the length of time these pieces take to create & the scarcity of suitable rock & driftwood, it is envisaged that only 12 Sculptures a year will be made, so early ordering is recommended.

In the sculpture gallery there are photographs of all past sculptures I have made & now sold. Also photographs of those currently available. If you were interested in something similar or wanted to discuss your ideas then please feel free to contact me either by phone or email as all sculptures would be made to order.

Best Wishes
